The importance of Brushing your dogs
It is important to brush your dogs to prevent tangles which can turn into matts.
When dog have matts, it is extremely uncomfortable for them as it tugs on their skin.
The tugging feels like when you tie your hair up in a tight ponytail. It is painful.
Imagine tight little pony tails throughout your body and in the most sensitive parts of your body.
When dogs have matts it hurts to dematt them, so for the best interest of the dog it is usually
recommended to shave off the matts.
Shaving off matts has risks of nicking skin and skin irritation.
Aesthetically, it does not look good if the dog has to be shaved.
Some dogs look better Fluffy.
Most tangles are located in the arm pits, behind ears, on belly, on the foot, tail and on the inside legs of
the dog.
Check and brush these areas frequently so the fur doesn’t get tangled and then turn into matts.
